"Venstredynen (SF, VS, DKP, maoister osv.) siger omtrent som så: 'Arbejdere, lønmodtagere! I må indføre socialismen, ellers mister I de goder, som I så møjsommeligt har tilkæmpet jer. Bekæmp gigant-monopolerne og Fællesmarkedet, ellers vil det gå jer ilde'.
Marxisterne siger som så: 'Arbejdere! De materielle goder, som I nyder godt af i dag, har I i det væsentligste opnået ved at få del i imperialismens plyndring af andre lande og folk. Hvad enten Danmark kommer i fællesmarkedet eller ej, vil de nye gigantmonopoler med usvigelig sikkerhed en dag medføre den store økonomiske og politiske krise, der vil tvinge jer til revolution. I vil blive nødt til at bringe ofre - selvom I hader tanken i dag!"

I dag må marxister sige det samme: Svaret på imperialismens nye fase kan ikke være kamp for bevarelse af den gamle nationale imperialisme."
